CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF DESIGN WITH TIERNEY CONNER - FALL 2024

FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR SPACE

From fiery sunsets to leaves in endless arrays of red, orange, and yellow, fall colors are something we often highlight. This season, however, we are sharing an addition and renovation project that celebrates a different palette — a unique and unpredictable one that saturates the soul and creates a lively, blissful sense of space in its boldness.

At Tierney Conner; no two projects are the same. That’s because we prioritize collaboration with our clients to develop designs that reflect their individual style and personality. In this case — taking cues from our client’s eclectic assortment of art, objects and furniture — we paired unexpected colors with various wood tones to set the stage.

It’s not all about finishes though! Functionally, the expanded kitchen is situated to foster family connection through its adjacency to the rear yard as well as the dining and living room. In the upstairs addition, a new primary suite provides a welcome third bedroom in a converted attic space. Washed in light, three connecting rooms open to a secluded deck making this a private refuge for the parents.

20TH ANNIVERSARY

November marks Tierney Conner’s 20th Anniversary. Building our practice has required a lot of practice, and it feels great to be on a precipice of this milestone. From day one, we have aimed to merge Architecture and Landscape to create warm, versatile, modern spaces that are ideally suited for Northern California living. We look forward to celebrating and sharing more about the inner workings of Tierney Conner in the New Year!

2024 MONTEREY DESIGN CONFERENCE

Our team is constantly learning and collecting inspiration. In this spirit, we attended the 2024 Monterey Design Conference last weekend. Continuing education is a real thing in our industry — not only to stay up to date on new materials and building technologies, but also to hone our creative ideas and problem-solving skills. The three-day gathering took place in Pacific Grove on the historic, Julia Morgan-designed grounds of the Asilomar Conference Center. We can’t think of a more serene setting in which to get inspired alongside our colleagues and distinguished industry leaders.
