We love winter – it is a time for embracing the indoors by spending rainy days cooking in the kitchen and lounging by the fire. We hope that all of you have a lovely new year and that you can find the time to slow down and enjoy the inside of your home this season.
Island Savoy Market in Alameda opened this year. Neighborhood markets are a staple of Bay Area communities, and we helped design this one to be a light-filled space stocked with well-appointed goods and a spot to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The project was a labor of love for the owners, who put their heart and soul into this store, and we were excited to be a part of the effort.
Island Savoy Market: Alameda, CA
With the help of our exterior design and renderings, they were able to receive a grant from the City of Alameda. Stop by for a visit to the market one of these rainy weekends and support a great local business (1200 Lincoln Avenue).
2022 was a busy year for us, and we are looking forward to a positive and productive 2023. Last year we built houses, big and small, and continued work on a variety of projects for small businesses as well as UC Berkeley. We have exciting new residential projects on the boards, inside and out, and will be seeing the final result of our ground-up New York residence at long last!
